Hifas da Terra participates, one more year, in the summer course organized by the USC in the Atlantic Talaso (Pontevedra) on integrative oncology. In this multidisciplinary event, professionals, patient associations and researchers for the sharing of therapies that currently complement and occupy a determining role in the treatment and support of the cancer patient will meet.

In this new edition, the course "Integrative Oncology (II). Integrating other views in the process of care for oncological patients", will feature the HDT medical team, which will expose your experiences in the integrative approach of the oncological patient from nutrients and serums developed with the extracts of the fungi with medicinal properties that investigates.

Thus, the presentation of the Dr. Ana Quiñones Laguillo, Oncology Project Manager in Hifas da Terra, will deal with the approach to skin toxicity in the oncological patient induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy (Wednesday, July 21, starting at 3:39 p.m.).

For its part, the Dr. Ricardo Sánchez, director of the Biomedic Department of HDT, will expose the applications of mythotherapy in the oncological patient (Thursday, July 21, starting at 10:30 a.m.). In his speech, Dr. Sánchez will present new clinical experiences and the results of the new research projects, which expands and complements the Intervention carried out last year in the first edition of this course.

This training focused on integrative oncology opens today and until next Thursday, July 21 will have more than twenty interventions, presentations, workshops and round tables to offer an integrative and multidisciplinary vision to address the cancer processes.
